Dr. Steve Lindstrom graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1979 after completing his undergraduate requirements at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Upon graduation he established his practice in Howards Grove, WI., in June, 1979.
Throughout his career Dr. Lindstrom has placed a high emphasis on involvement in the community, in his profession, and in continuing education. His community activities include serving as President of the Howards Grove Advancement Association, President of the Elkhart Lake Chamber of Commerce, and on the Board of Directors of the Sheboygan Chapter of the American Red Cross.
For his beloved profession of dentistry, Dr. Lindstrom has served as President of the Sheboygan County Dental Society twice. He has served on various committees and councils of the Wisconsin Dental Association, and has held every office in the Association. In 1994 Dr. Lindstrom was elected by the dentists in Wisconsin to serve as the youngest President in the history of the Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr. Lindstrom has been recognized by his peers by his election to the following prestigious organizations: The American College of Dentists, The International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
For his love of dental education Dr. Lindstrom accepted an appointment from the Dean of the Marquette University School of Dentistry’s Dentists Advisory Council in 1995, where he served for 13 years. In 1998 Dr. Lindstrom was elected to membership in the Dental Forum, a Milwaukee based study club which is the longest continually running dental study club in the nation. Its 50 members represent an elite group of dental practitioners composed of many dental educators, and hear the best, most innovative lectures on a monthly basis. He is also a graduate of the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Educations Facially Generated Treatment Planning. Dr. Lindstrom has spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours in continuing dental education.
Dr. Lindstrom is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Sheboygan County Dental Society, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Dental Forum, and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lindstrom resides just outside of Howards Grove with his wife, Vickie. Dr. Lindstrom has three sons. Erik and Brett are grown and live in Milwaukee and his third son Alec is at home.
