Founder, Children’s Dental Outreach Clinic for underserved children
Dr. Rossi is a 1979 graduate of Denison University, B.S. Biology, and a 1983 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. He started his dental career in private practice located in Greenwich, Connecticut. After combining two practices and building a new office, he sold his practice and relocated with his family to southeastern Wisconsin in 1994.
Dr. Rossi founded a non-profit organization, Children’s Dental Outreach Clinic, which used a mobile dental office to provide dental sealant clinics for underserved children. In 2001, the non-profit was dissolved and the mobile office donated to Marquette University School of Dentistry. The clinic model, developed by the non-profit, is used today by the Wisconsin Division of Public Health. Volunteer dental hygienists use portable dental equipment in schools to reach identified underserved children.
In 2000, he joined Dr. Lindstrom’s practice in Howards Grove. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Wisconsin Dental Association Professional Services. He is a former board member and current advisory board member of Ozaukee Family Services, a Wisconsin non-profit organization .
Dr. Rossi is a full time faculty member at the Marquette University School of Dentistry, holding the position of Clinical Assistant Professor. He is in private practice one day per week.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Sheboygan County Dental Society, and The Dental Forum of Milwaukee.
